Dodge’s 2023 “Last Call” Challenger Shakedown Has Arrived

The 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown, part of Dodge’s “Last Call” limited edition series, has arrived at dealerships.

The 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown pays tribute to the original 1971 Dodge Challenger Shakedown Concept, which shook up the display floor when unveiled at the 2016 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.

Only 1,000 Shakedown units will be produced. Of that 1,000 units, 500 will be based on the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack and painted in Destroyer Grey, and the 500 other units will be based on the R/T Scat Pack Widebody and painted Pitch Black.

Under the hood lies the mighty naturally-aspriated 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI® V8. The HEMI is good for 485 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. When paired to the 8-speed automatic transmission, the 392 can rip a 0 to 60 mph time in about 4.2 seconds.

Shakedown models will come loaded with content from the Plus Group, Technology Group, Navigation, Carbon/Suede, and Dynamics Package (for the non-Widebody model).
