It’s April Fool’s Day, the one day of the year where everyone tries to pull a practical joke on someone else. Earlier today, we teased everyone about the Mexico/Middle East market Dodge Neon coming stateside. But the Dodge brand also got on the bandwagon this morning, by teasing a picture featuring a little photoshop trickery.
The brand’s social media accounts featured a Granite Crystal Dodge Journey Blacktop model with a little hidden emblem in the grille… the SRT HELLCAT logo. The caption of “Dodge muscle is no joke. Except just this once.” highlighted the fun.
Another post highlighted the April Fool’s Day prank with another caption, “Raise hell with the whole family. Witness over 700 horsepower inside the Journey HELLCAT Redeye“. We especially love the rear-wheel-drive photoshop burnout in the picture.
Several automotive manufacturers played jokes on the public with bizarre post of photoshopped vehicles and false information throughout the day.
