After decades of slick car salesman it’s refreshing to see these results. Price gouging, misrepresentations and down right skullduggery is the business as usual experience in the showroom. Just some honesty and love is all people want. If they are in your dealership they want to buy something. Treat customer right and they will come back. Good business practice it seems.
Maybe we should do our shopping in Mexico.

I know I’m gonna get ripped apart for saying this, but I’m gonna say it anyway. I think it’s time that we stop playing this, I hate China thing and start selling the Atitude and the Journey here in the US. Yes I know they’re made in China and I know there’s a lot of us that hate them because you’re a communist country. For those of us that don’t want to buy them like myself. I think we don’t, but other people that buy Mopar brand they don’t care where the cars are made I think they should have that choice. Based on seeing the new Mexican Journey firsthand when I was visiting San Diego, I was pretty impressed by the size, by the look and by the inside set up of this vehicle. It seemed to be slightly bigger than my wife’s 2017 Cherokee, but smaller than my Durango. I was more impressed by the Mexican Journey than I am with the Dodge Hornet. We need to do something to fill the gap of missing vehicles in the Dodge lineup. Having a few cheaper vehicles in that lineup would be helpful. It’s been said that some of those cars are junk. But if you listen to all the people that MF the Mopar brand they say all our stuff is junk whether it’s made in the US Canada or Mexico. If they’re not gonna buy a Dodge, they’re not gonna buy a Dodge simple as that. What I feel our beautiful vehicles that we are not getting here in the US and they seem to be selling pretty well down in Mexico. It’s time to add these two vehicles to the US lineup. Do whatever needs to do to make them safe for US standards. Sell them not only will it increase sales, it will increase the number of cars in our lineup and possibly get more people into the showroom and those people that might not want the Attitude or the Journey may buy one of the new Chargers or something else that’s on the floor in any Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram showroom.

The Chrysler design that was supposed to replace the Journey was stolen by the PSA side of the house and is now a Peugeot model built and sold in Europe. Dodge does not need a small for door sedan, especially a Chinese one. There was a nice crossover version of the Fiat Tipo that would been more popular than a small sedan, but now the Tipo is on its way out.

How many Chinese companies does Stellantis need to be paired with? I don't have issues with the Chinese designs, but it seems like Stellantis is just slapping badges on products from 3 or 4 different Chinese manufacturers. I love the Grande Panda and think something like that would be a great entry level product if they put a range extender in it. The next Jeep Renegade will probably be the next entry level model in CDJR showrooms. Stellantis only offers that platform as an EV or a mild hybrid.

Nissan is currently teetering on the brink of oblivion following the cheap sedans and crossovers strategy.
