Stellantis is celebrating a remarkable achievement as its brands Dodge, Ram, and Alfa Romeo dominate the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS) rankings. Dodge secures the top spot among 33 brands, followed closely by Ram and Alfa Romeo. This impressive performance marks the fourth consecutive year that Dodge has been ranked among the top two brands, showcasing Stellantis’ commitment to delivering excellence and customer satisfaction.
Dodge Leads the Pack:
Dodge, known for its powerful performance and iconic vehicles, has emerged as the J.D. Power 2023 IQS leader. This accomplishment demonstrates Dodge’s consistent dedication to producing high-quality vehicles that meet and exceed customer expectations. Dodge has secured a top spot for the fourth year running, solidifying its position as a reliable and trusted brand.
Ram’s Remarkable Ascent:
Ram, Stellantis’ renowned truck brand, has made significant strides in the IQS rankings. Climbing an impressive 16 places, Ram secures the second position in the study. This marks Ram’s third time among the top three brands since 2020, reflecting its commitment to delivering exceptional quality and performance. With the flagship Ram 1500 leading the large light-duty pickup segment, Ram continues to make a lasting impression on customers.
Alfa Romeo’s Soaring Success:
Alfa Romeo, the luxury brand under Stellantis, has achieved a remarkable feat in the J.D. Power 2023 IQS. Soaring 24 places, Alfa Romeo finishes first among premium brands and third overall in the industry. This impressive jump highlights the brand’s commitment to continuous improvement and providing customers with a premium ownership experience. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio also claims top honors in the compact premium SUV segment, further showcasing the brand’s excellence in design and performance.
Maserati’s Impressive Improvement:
Among Stellantis’ stable brands, Maserati stands out with a significant improvement in the IQS. Surging 17 places to 14th in the industry, Maserati records 73 fewer problems per 100 vehicles (PP100) compared to the previous year. This achievement reinforces Maserati’s commitment to quality and further enhances the brand’s reputation among luxury vehicle manufacturers.
Jeep® and Chrysler Showcase Improvement:
Jeep®, a popular brand under the Stellantis umbrella, demonstrates its commitment to customer satisfaction by outperforming the industry average. Jeep’s rise from 23rd to 19th place in the 2023 IQS is attributed to the Jeep Gladiator’s top ranking in the midsize pickup segment. Furthermore, the Chrysler brand shows a nearly six percent improvement in its PP100 total compared to the previous year, further solidifying Stellantis’ commitment to enhancing quality across its portfolio.
