A couple of weeks ago, we told you about the holiday commercials that Dodge was running for the upcoming holiday season. Now Dodge has released seven new commercials to continue the holiday spirit into the month of December.
The Dodge brand will launch a social series in early December that sends up popular car restoration reality shows. The social series, which will run across the brand’s digital and social channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, will chronicle the entire process of overhauling Santa’s sleigh, revealing the reasoning for many of the sleigh’s new features, and includes Dodge “personalities” Bill Goldberg (professional athlete, NFL player, pro wrestler and automobile aficionado) as Santa and “All Girls Garage” host and automotive enthusiast Cristy Lee as Mrs. Claus.
In the first commercial entitled “You Don’t Get Jack”, shows that thanks to Dodge there’s some toy controversy at Santa’s workshop this Christmas.
In the second commercial released entitled “Fast and Furry-ous” show that the only ones not thrilled about Santa’s new HEMI-powered sleigh are the reindeer.
In the third commercial entitled “Gift Horses”, Santa explains upgrading his eight tiny reindeer to 797 screaming horses.
In the fourth commercial “Wish List”, that while Santa is beefing up his sleigh Mrs. Claus has no intention of being left out in the cold.
The fifth commercial called “Not So Silent Night”, shows us now that Santa has joined forces with Dodge there will be no silent night this holiday season.
In the commercial entitled ” North Swoll”, Santa explains trading in his bowl full of jelly for some serious Dodge muscle.
In the final commercial “Season’s Beatings”, show us when you ask elves to build the ultimate winter-weather, all-wheel-drive sleigh system don’t be surprised when things get heated.
Consumers can get in on the reindeer action by purchasing a HELLCAT Redeye Reindeer T-shirt on Dodge.com, with more holiday merchandise to follow, including the same version of the sweater worn by Goldberg in the commercial. The shirts are available in Small to 2XL and are priced at $17.95 U.S. According to Dodge there are only limited quantities available, and you must order by December 10th to guarantee shipping before Christmas.
To answer your question… Yes, the sleigh used in the commercial was designed by the FCA Product Design Studio in Auburn Hills, Michigan. They took an actual 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT HELLCAT Redeye and hacked it up to make the sleigh. The engine is still inside and still fires up.
