This incentive aims to boost customers financially while helping Dodge manage its inventory levels. By tying the cash allowance to the vehicle’s horsepower, Dodge is directly appealing to enthusiasts who crave power and performance.

Thousands of 2023 Dodge Charger and Challenger models remain in dealer inventory across the U.S. The 2024 Dodge Hornet, included in the Power Dollars program for the first time, is also facing slow sales and is currently the third slowest-selling vehicle in the United States as of August 1st, 2024.

“Dodge brand total sales in the U.S. increased 16% from the first quarter to the second quarter of 2024, and we plan to continue to build on that momentum,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO. “We know our Dodge//SRT enthusiasts crave more power and performance, and Dodge Power Dollars gives them an extra boost to join the Brotherhood of Muscle.”

Sorry, hit send too soon….

Good idea, but seeing the cars (with the exception to the Durango and Hornet) are almost 2 years old, how are they going to advertise this? Will a TV advertisement showing a rebate for a 2 year old car be a wise idea? I guess word of mouth maybe their best bet.

This incentive program is not new. It has been in effect since the beginning of June. They need to up the pathetic rebate amounts if they want to sell these vehicles, especially the Chargers and Challengers that have been sitting for 8 months.
