Dodge is known for producing iconic muscle cars that have been highly sought after for decades. In the past, customers could order parts from different trims through local dealerships. Although those days are long gone, Dodge has brought back a similar level of customization with the Jailbreak option for the 2022 model year Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebodys.
For those unfamiliar with Jailbreak, it offers customers the ability to deeply customize their vehicles with 20 different category options from the factory. These include everything from seats to wheels, exterior badges to stripes, and even the recently re-released heritage colors like B5 Blue, Plum Crazy, Sublime, and Destroyer Gray.
However, finding a dealer with allocation left for these special editions may prove challenging as every Charger and Challenger will be allocated to dealers instead of following customer demand with preorders and deposits. Dodge’s solution to this is the “2023 Horsepower Locator,” which will allow customers to find where a Last Call model is being sold, as well as every dealer’s Charger and Challenger allocation within a zip code they enter.
While some dealers may have already pre-ordered these special allocations, Dodge’s move to offer the Jailbreak option as standard for every SRT model in 2023 is sure to excite muscle car enthusiasts who want to make their ride truly one-of-a-kind.
