Dodge Keeps The HEMI® Roaring In 2025 Durango

Durango HEMI Production Has Been Extended Into 2025...

Dodge is making the holiday season brighter for enthusiasts by keeping the powerful HEMI® engine alive in the Dodge Durango lineup into the 2025 calendar year. This move comes as a response to market demand and customer feedback, ensuring fans of Dodge’s three-row SUV can continue to enjoy its impressive performance options.

The 2025 Dodge Durango will offer the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® HELLCAT V8 engine, which delivers a staggering 710 horsepower and 645 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful gas-engine SUV available. Additionally, the Durango R/T will retain its standard 5.7-liter HEMI® V8, which produces 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque.

“The Dodge Durango and the HEMI engine form a powerful pair, and Dodge will continue to produce the most powerful gas engine SUV on the planet into the 2025 calendar year,” Dodge CEO Matt McAlear shared. “It’s the perfect capstone for our celebration of 20 years of HEMI-powered Durango models.”

Dodge introduced HEMI-powered Durango models in 2004 and is celebrating the 20th anniversary with several special editions. These include the SRT HELLCAT Brass Monkey, Hammerhead, Silver Bullet, and the R/T 20th Anniversary Edition. All these limited-production models are available for ordering now at Dodge dealerships.

Alongside the HEMI offerings, the Durango lineup will continue to feature the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, which powers the Durango GT. This range of engines supports Dodge’s commitment to offering vehicles that meet diverse performance needs while preserving its legacy of power.
