Dodge Expands Its Lineup For The Middle East:

Durango, Charger, Challenger GT Models Head East...

While the Dodge brand isn’t offered in many parts of the world, the Middle East is a popular market for the American performance brand. For the past several years, Dodge has been trying to expand its market share in the region beyond the high-performance R/T and SRT trim levels. Now, the Dodge brand is introducing the GT lineup for its three core performance models the Charger, Challenger, and Durango models.

As a true automotive icon with its muscle car performance roots, bold styling and racing heritage the 2019 Dodge Charger GT offers performance at an affordable value. For 2019, the Dodge Charger GT offers looks only found on performance models in previous years. 

Thanks to its 300 horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine and 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, the four-door sedan can achieve fuel economy of up to 7.84 L/100km (30 mpg) even with sending power to the rear wheels.

The 2019 Dodge Charger GT for the Middle East region, includes a full complement of race-bred chassis upgrades and features including standard Sport Mode and performance suspension, and three-mode electronic stability control. The Charger GT includes a performance hood with air induction scoop, 20-inch x 8-inch Granite Crystal aluminum wheels, black grille, styled body color SRT body kit (that includes front and rear fascias, sculpted side sills and rear body-color one-piece spoiler).

The legendary Dodge Challenger continues to be a hit in the Middle East region, with its classic American muscle car styling. The 2019 Dodge Challenger GT builds on the Dodge brand’s promise to deliver performance machines with world-class power, efficiency, technology, authentic materials, and standout styling.

Power comes from a 305 horsepower variant of the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. The car comes standard with the 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission and sends all 305 horsepower to the rear wheels. 

The new 2019 Dodge Challenger GT features standard hood with functional scoop, SRT front splitter, sport suspension and steering, paddle shifters, 20-inch x 8-inch Granite Crystal aluminum sports wheels fitted with performance tires and bolstered Houndstooth cloth sports seats, with the option of leather sports seats. There’s also standard remote start and Parksense Rear Park Assist system as well as a leather performance steering wheel.

Rounding out the 2019 Dodge GT lineup for the Middle East is the popular seven-seat Dodge Durango GT. The Durango GT offers an exciting drive with standard all-wheel drive (AWD). Dodge Durango GT’s combination of uncompromised utility, advanced technology, class-leading towing and driving range, confident driving dynamics, and aggressive SRT styling make it the Dodge Charger of the three-row SUV segment.

For the 2019 model year, Dodge continues to demonstrate Durango’s proven performance, utility and comfort with the GT model sporting stylish 20-inch x 8-inch Satin Carbon wheels, body color SRT front and rear fascias plus wheel lip moulding, performance grille, black roof rails, body color shark fin antenna and dual rear exhaust with bright tips.
 
The Durango GT’s very high level of standard equipment also includes premium trim throughout plus power liftgate, power front seats, LED daytime running headlamps, low beam HID headlamps with black bezels, premium LED fog lamps, remote start, and Parksense rear park assist system.
 
Standard features across the whole GT line-up include integrated voice command, USB and auxiliary ports, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, premium audio systems and steering wheel mounted audio controls. There is also a wide range of available options across all of the models so that, depending on your personal preferences, you can tailor your Dodge GT to your specific requirements. 
 
While the information might not sound too exciting for the North American market, it showcases that Dodge brand is expanding its global effort to bring affordable performance around the globe.
