Dodge Charger Swinger Models Make Their Way To Dealer Showrooms

Over the past week, we have been seeing several “Last Call” special edition models start to arrive in dealer showrooms. One of them, the Dodge Charger Swinger, pays homage to the Dodge Dart Swinger, an original Dodge “Scat Pack” club member. 

Based on the Scat Pack Widebody trim, the Charger Swinger is powered by the 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI® SRT V8. The naturally-aspirated motor creates 485 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque, and mated to a lightning-fast shifting 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. That’s a lot more power than the 275 horsepower and 340 lb.-ft. of torque from the original Dart Swinger’s 5.6-liter (340 cubic-inch) 4-bbl V8.

The Charger Swinger offers complete exterior and interior details with a retro and modern flare blend. Charger Swinger features include:

Three color options are available. Those who love the 1970s can choose a green-on-green motif with F8 Green or Sublime Green with Dark Green exterior decals. But we love this White Knuckle option instead.
