Dodge Brings Vintage Appeal to the 2024 E-Bike World
Heritage Style Meets Modern E-Bike Performance...
The new Dodge e-Bike by BYTECH combines retro aesthetics with modern electric technology, paying homage to the early days of Dodge and bringing classic design to the world of e-bikes in 2024. Inspired by the original Dodge Brothers bicycles from the early 20th century, this e-bike is designed to evoke the style of the past while delivering cutting-edge performance for today’s riders. The Dodge e-Bike is priced at $3,499 USD and is licensed by FCA US LLC, though Stellantis, Dodge’s parent company, is not directly involved in production.
This e-bike is visually unique, featuring a sleek Fire Red frame with a vintage-inspired Dodge Brothers cloisonné winged emblem, an emblem originally designed in 1910. The bike incorporates the classic Fratzog Dodge logo on the premium leather saddle and tire caps, enhancing its nostalgic appearance. With a water transfer wooden grain texture on the rims and high-performance Kenda 26-inch x 4-inch fat tires, the e-bike is equally suited for urban commuting and off-road adventures.
Under the hood, this Dodge e-bike has some serious power. A 52-volt, 20Ah removable LG battery powers a 52-volt, 1000-watt Bafang motor capable of delivering up to 95 Nm of torque, allowing the e-bike to reach a top speed of 45 kph (28 mph) with pedal assist, while throttling can take it up to 32 kph (20 mph). The battery life provides an impressive range of 62 to 74 miles per charge, making it ideal for both daily commutes and longer journeys. Charging is straightforward, requiring around 7 to 8 hours for a full charge with a 52-volt 3-amp charger.
The e-bike includes a Sinewave Bluepoint controller with 12 MOSFET, designed to provide a smooth, efficient ride, even when taking on hills or rougher terrain. It’s equipped with a Shimano 7-speed gear system and high-performance Tektro HD-E395 hydraulic brakes, ensuring responsive stopping power and control. For added comfort, the bike has an air suspension fork with lockout for various riding conditions and a saddle with springs.
Other notable features include a high and low-beam front motorized light, operated from the control panel, and the advanced Sate-Lite brake light and turn signal system, ensuring visibility and safety on the road. The Dodge e-bike is equipped with a smart display with USB functionality, torque sensors for a responsive ride, and an NFC-enabled key card for secure access.
Every part of the bike is built with quality materials, like hand-stitched leather grips that bear the Dodge logo. While BYTECH is known for brands like Case Logic and iHOME, it is also known for its electric folding scooters for the FIAT 500e, it has channeled the heritage and spirit of Dodge into this modern e-bike design, creating a stylish, high-performance option for those who appreciate both the legacy and the innovation of Dodge.
