Dodge Announces Its “Last Call” Series Cars For The European Market
55 Units of Dodge Challenger Shakedown will be built for European Market...
As Dodge bids farewell to its lineup of modern-day HEMI® Chargers and Challenger, the American performance brand has introduced several special editions of “Last Call” models to commemorate its current muscle car lineup. As the brand moves towards the path of electrification, it is now expanding its release to Europe, where in select markets the cars are continued to be sold.
Europeans Can Choose From New Colors –
Not only will those models sold in Europe be able to have the 2023 Dodge Charger and Challenger models include a special commemorative “Last Call” underhood plaque which makes each model a true collector’s item and includes the vehicle name and its silhouette, as well as “Designed in Auburn Hills” and “Assembled in Brampton” to certify each vehicle’s origin. The two lineups include 14 exterior color options each, including three of the Dodge’s signature heritage colors: B5 Blue, Plum Crazy, Sublime, and the modern classic Destroyer Grey.
European Jailbreak Program Now Open For SRT HELLCAT –
To celebrate this special edition in true Dodge style, the Brand is also expanding the reach of its popular SRT Jailbreak models, which were initially introduced for the Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT HELLCAT Redeye Widebody, unlocking color combination ordering restrictions and exclusive content. In 2023, the Jailbreak package will be even more affordable, being extended to the 717-horsepower Challenger and Charger SRT HELLCAT.
Dodge Europe is taking a strong connection with its Official International Commercial Partners to get the Charger and Challenger into the hands of its enthusiasts, through their Official Retail Network with all Service & Warranty Packages.
Shakedown Will Go To Europe –
The first vehicle from this Special Edition to be introduced in Europe to the public was the 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown, a version that pays homage to the famous 2016 concept model introduced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas that same year. The iconic vehicle is evoked by many details, including the red “392” fender, the “Shakedown” spoiler graphic with red accents, the red six-piston Brembo brakes, the “Shakedown” IP badge, and the Premium Black Nappa/Alcantara seats with red stitching which can also be found on the console, steering wheel, and seats.
The new version is also enhanced by unique features like the distinctive black “Challenger” grille badge, the unique R/T grille badge, 20-inch x 11-inch Carbon Black Lightweight wheels (Widebody), and Demonic Red seatbelts. The legendary Mopar Shaker hood also makes a return. The callback to the original theme is clear with a combination of red and black which perfectly balances the dialogue between modern features and heritage soul.
The 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown is a genuine limited edition for fans of muscle cars. Only 1,000 models have been produced—500 Dodge Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Pack (in Destroyer Grey) and 500 Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Pack Widebody (in Pitch Black). The 55 exclusive examples landing in Europe are all Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Pack Widebody (in Pitch Black). It is possible to equip the model with content from the Plus Group, Technology Group, Navigation, and Carbon/Suede. Pricing has not yet been released for these 55 examples.
