Detroit 4Fest returns this weekend, September 5–6, 2025, to Holly Oaks ORV Park in Holly, Michigan, bringing two full days of off-road adventure, live entertainment, and family fun. If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to get your Jeep®, truck, or side-by-side dirty, this is the place to be.
Friday Kicks Off the Action –

The fun begins Friday, September 5, when gates open at 3:00 PM. By 5:00 PM, the Off-Road Park will be open for enthusiasts to get some early wheel time. Once the sun sets, the energy shifts gears with NightFest by TYRI Lighting at 7:00 PM, offering a unique nighttime off-road experience.
Saturday Is Packed From Morning To Night –

Saturday marks the beginning of the real action. At 8:00 AM, gates open for parking at the Mt. Holly entrance, and flag sales begin right away. By 9:00 AM, Holly Oaks ORV Park opens to the public, along with the Vendor Village, where off-road brands and aftermarket specialists will showcase the latest gear and products. Jeep and other vehicle demos also come to life, giving people a chance to see their capabilities up close.
One of the major attractions is Off-Road 101 Training, presented by Eaton, which teaches drivers the fundamentals of off-roading in a controlled and friendly environment. These $25 training sessions are held at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, with a special women-only session at noon, hosted by Wicked Jeeps. Spots are limited, and all meet at the north end of Vendor Village.
For thrill-seekers, The Notch Shootout is a must-see event. Drivers compete in a hillclimb time trial with three classes: Rock Bouncer/Buggy, Full Size with Body, and UTV/SxS. Registration is only $50, with the driver’s meeting at 12:30 PM at the 4Fest merchandise trailer. The time trial kicks off at 1:00 PM sharp.
At 5:00 PM, the park closes, but the fun doesn’t stop. Just across the way at Mt. Holly Ski Resort, the evening festivities run from 5:30 to 9:30 PM, featuring live music from Itchycoo Park, Detroit Legends. At 6:00 PM, the Passport to Prizes drawing takes place, where attendees who have collected stamps from sponsor tents throughout the day will have a chance to win prizes, including an all-expenses-paid trip to Moab, Utah.
Safety And Rules –

Safety comes first at Detroit 4Fest. All operators and passengers in side-by-sides must wear helmets and seat belts. Vehicles are required to display warning flags that are at least 10 feet high when parked and eight feet high when in motion. Detroit 4Fest flags will be sold on-site for $40, with mounts available for $25, including free installation.
A Michigan ORV sticker is required to participate, but don’t worry—stickers will be available for purchase at the park entrance. Eligible vehicles include Jeeps, 4×4 trucks, UTVs, and side-by-sides. For safety reasons, motorcycles and ATVs are not permitted.
Mopar Joins The Fun –

Of course, Mopar will be part of the action, showcasing its latest lineup of Jeep® Performance Parts (JPP). Expect to see some of this year’s wild Easter Jeep Safari concept vehicles on display alongside Mopar’s catalog of off-road upgrades, accessories, and performance gear. For Jeep owners looking to earn their Jeep Badge of Honor, Detroit 4Fest is the perfect opportunity to connect with the app, log your trail runs, and start collecting badges.
Why You Shouldn’t Miss It –
Detroit 4Fest is more than just an off-road event—it’s a celebration of the off-road lifestyle. Between the training, competitions, live entertainment, vendor displays, and prize giveaways, there’s something here for everyone, from hardcore enthusiasts to first-time off-roaders. With Jeep, Mopar, Eaton, and numerous other brands on hand, this is one of the biggest opportunities of the year to connect with the Midwest off-road community.
So, if you’re in Michigan this weekend, grab your Jeep, truck, or side-by-side and head to Holly Oaks ORV Park. Whether you’re looking to push your vehicle to its limits or just soak in the atmosphere, Detroit 4Fest promises a weekend full of mud, horsepower, and memories.
