Recently, we were able to speed a week with the all-new 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee Overland 4×4 (WL75), the brand’s first 3-row offering using the Grand Cherokee nameplate. Riding on an all-new platform, the Grand Cherokee L is 15 inches longer than the outgoing Grand Cherokee (WK2) and 11.4 inches longer than the all-new 2-row Grand Cherokee (WL74) that will be arriving on dealer lots soon.

I had planned on leasing a 2022 Grand Cherokee Summit this year, but with the delays, price gouging reports and rumors of quality issues I bought my 2019 Cherokee off lease instead. Boy am I glad I did as rumors become fact and there are no two rows to be found in inventory anyway. I also bought my 2019 Challenger R/T off lease early since a Hemi in my garage is better than searching for a new Hemi somewhere. No one is happy with this situation, but at least I am confident that I made the right move until things get better. Heck, both these vehicles are running like a fine watch anyway and all my tech systems are functioning well. My advice, if you can, hang on to your current ride for now.

Yeah.

As much as I really like the new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, I think I'm going to enjoy the no payments aspect of my Cheorkee for a little bit, and hopefully when I'm ready for something else, the market will have returned to more natural state.
