Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) concluded the third quarter of 2025 with strong sales momentum across nearly all its brands. The company reported selling 324,825 vehicles, a 6% year-over-year increase, marking its best September in more than a year. Key growth came from Chrysler and Jeep, as well as FIAT, also notching a modest gain. Commercial fleet sales climbed 22%, showing broad strength across the board.

I have to wonder if Alfa Romeo can remain in our market because of the slow sales combined with the tariff situation. Fiat did a little better, but those give away leases will end with the Federal subsidies. Fiat needs some hybrids suitable for our market ASAP. One of them should be the Grande Panda.

The CDJR brands seem to be at least keeping their heads above water. Jeep needs some rationalization in its lineup, a simpler trim menu and some mild hybrid offerings. This isn't to say don't offer Hemi options, but Jeep needs to have something available to offer to those who come into the showroom dreaming about a Hemi, but then have to face the reality of affordability. The Wagoneer S and Recon desperately need an ICE range extender option to survive.

At Dodge there will be a presentation of the play, Hellcat on a Hot Tin Roof . The name of the main character will naturally be Brick. Dodge needs to fix the darn battery electric software problem, and then they should look into some sort of range extender solution for the electric Charger models. Dodge also needs an STLA-medium vehicle to replace the Hornet with.

Send the people who run the Chrysler brand to the Japan Mobility Show this month and have them study Lexus, Toyota's Crown Lineup and the Century SUV.

The Ram brand needs to always remember the BOF mid-size pickup is a replacement for the Ram 1500 Classic, which was affordable, simple and rugged. The Federal subsidies for battery electric vehicles has ended. The changes in emissions regulations may allow the Multi-Jet diesel to be offered here in the US. The Multi-Jet 2.2 is an option in both the Ram ProMaster's equivalent van in Europe and the Ram ProMaster City electric van slated for our market as well. Speaking of electric the Ram REV, formerly known as the Ramcharger has to be all dialed in from the start.

Think you’re right on target. These sales numbers, though disappointing, must be taken in with some of a realty adjustment. No Cherokee, no Chrysler anything, no Challenger, no four door affordable Charger, no Journey, no midsize trucks and the black cloud of the Charger Dayton debacle hanging over the entire line of offerings and it makes even, can I say it….good news.
I dare not mention the Hemi factor that might have Mopar fans dancing in the streets. Break out the champagne, time to celebrate the disappointing news. It an’t that bad.

I guess people did want the vibrant, noisy, less powerful and slower Ram V8.

Let’s see how sustainable this sales growth is.

Nine months in, less than 1M units total. Nothing but a bit player now .

After looking at this quarters sales, I’m trying to make heads or tails out of it. Trying to find a bright spot. If there are any, the only ones I found if you wanna call them bright, is the increase sales in the Wagoneer, the fact that the Ram 1500 is holding steady, the OG Durango did great in sales and the Chrysler minivan(s) were up in sales. Looking at everything else it’s kind of scary and kind of sad. Stellantis needs to really get on the ball and get going on the midsize pick up, one or two more offerings at Chrysler (SUV, crossover and possibly a sedan) and looking at that Dodge Attitude R/T that is being sold in Mexico for 22 grand. This is something we really can use in North America. Hopefully within the next 12 months, we’ll have a couple of these vehicles along with the new ICE Dodge Charger in the showroom shortly. Maybe things will turn around for next year.

Indeed, as product owner and ensuring financial sustainability, "with orders already exceeding production..." strongly affirms the 1500 REV will not get production line priority until late in Q4... at best.
