Reports from last week indicate that Detroit’s Big-3 automakers will require their Canadian workforce to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Ford Motor Company, General Motors (GM), and Stellantis will follow similar procedures going into effect by the end of the year, says a report from The Detroit News posted last Thursday. The decision does not affect United States operations for Detroit’s Big-3 automakers, but it continues the global argument of vaccinated vs. non-vaccinated in the workplace.
