Just one day after Stellantis announced its record-breaking $13 billion U.S. investment plan, more details are emerging about what’s coming to Michigan’s Warren Truck Assembly Plant—and it’s big news for Ram fans.

According to sources close to MoparInsiders, Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa showed internal presentation material during a Town Hall meeting earlier today that included what appeared to be a Ram-branded full-size SUV. This revelation follows Stellantis’ confirmation that Warren Truck will receive a $100 million investment to produce an all-new range-extended EV (REEV) and internal combustion engine (ICE) large SUV starting in 2028.

I'm not going to lie, this is good news to me. I just really hope that the Mopar brands can get things back together.

I had to check the date on the calendar to see if it was April 1st. This is a bold move and it shows Stellantis is looking to get back in the game. I just hope we are not in the the bottom of the 9th, and it’s too late. Seeems a lot of new, real new product is coming. A full size Ram SUV is way over due. I had a feeling it was coming when the Ramcharger name was dropped from the new hybrid upcoming pickup.
I hope this ALL falls into place! Can’t wait for all the positive changes.

"Going back to how FCA was."

Some people will hate that. Personally that's music to my ears. FCA took Dodge, Ram, and Jeep to heights they had NEVER seen before.

If Ram is a truck brand, this decision frees Dodge to concentrate on performance oriented, light duty SUVs and cars and the rugged credentials at Ram would only enhance the appeal factor for heavy duty SUV customers.
I agree with other posters, this is good news that the shackles are off and the real American focused product is on the way.
The sharing of assets model of a global corporation like Stellantis still exists, but without niches and individuality for different demographics and markets or ignoring those realities, results in what we had under Tavares, arrogant driven policy that fails in the real world of consumer driven business.
Let the good news continue, it’s refreshing and needed.
