RECALL: 53,849 Alfa Romeo Models for Potential Fuel Pump Failure
Fuel Delivery Module Defect May Lead to Engine Stalls and Loss of Motive Power

Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) has announced a recall of approximately 53,849 units of its 2017–2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia (GA) and 2018–2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio (GU) models due to a potential fuel pump failure. A failing fuel pump may reduce or stop fuel flow, resulting in engine fuel starvation.
Fuel starvation can cause a sudden loss of motive power (LOMP) without warning, increasing the risk of a crash. In some cases, customers may notice the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) illuminating before the issue occurs.
