Ram has officially opened orders for the highly anticipated 2025 Ram ProMaster EV in Canada, marking a significant step in the brand’s electrification journey. Canadian businesses can now build and price their all-electric cargo van at www.ramtruck.ca and connect with dealerships to complete their purchase.

Not sure how this van is going to work for Amazon. I would figure most local Amazon delivery vans drive about 100-150 miles a day or more depending on the route, not including idle time or use of power, lighting in & out, radio, maps/gps/carplay, heat in winter. Will that exceed the “164” miles that is betting on?

~160 miles / 250km isn't great, but it's longer than the average urban route. GM Brightdrop has a slightly higher range, but are $10-15k more expensive. I imagine most of the purchasing decisions will be based on whether the interior volume is adequate for the intended routes, now that anxiety about range is less of a factor (top up with superchargers, remote charging, etc.)
