I’ll put it very bluntly, we’re back on with Chrysler,” Ralph Gilles, Stellantis design chief,

"What does that mean, practically speaking? “We set up a [design] studio,” Gilles continued. ”We didn’t have a Chrysler studio, it was kind of coupled in with the Dodge studio, so we set up a separate Chrysler studio."

"The studio that we set up about a year and a half ago, we’ve been just going nuts in there, looking at concepts.”

Other pieces that make up a happening car company are coming together, too. “The product planners have a team,” Gilles said. “There’s a marketing team now, so we’ve built all the fixings to really look after the brand, and that’s brought new energy I find, new questions, new demands from the brand heads.

Obviously, Chrysler needs help. As stated repeatedly by many loyalists, there seems to be a void in vision and direction at Chrysler and now it seems a stand alone Product Team needs to come to the rescue. Chrysler is floundering and video clips that parrot talking points about Chrysler’s legacy, talking points that scream of a lack of real knowledge or automotive gravitas by the cheerful chief officer, just does not cut it. Time to not only get a Product Team in place, time to get someone in charge who really knows Chrysler passionately and personally.
Time to not only send help with a Product Team, it’s time to hang a “Help Wanted” sign out for a new brand leadership team.

Sad fact: we have two 300s, but neither offers Level 2+ driving capability. I had to resort to purchasing the final model year of the Cadillac CT6 (Platinum trim) just to experience Level 2+ driving. If Chrysler had offered the same, I would have gladly bought another 300; I would've opted for a third one without hesitation. Hopefully, as the brand CEO suggested, the next iteration of the 300 will include the latest tech for us old folks. LOL
