Ram Brazil recently released a teaser video showcasing the new truck, which is expected to be based on the Fiat Titano. Production will take place at the Cordoba Assembly Plant in Argentina, where the Fiat version is also built. However, the new Ram truck will feature distinctive styling to appeal to Brazil’s premium truck market.

Still mad we can't buy a Rampage here, I assume this is the Chinese vehicle.

Ford is getting a second small Pickup.
 
When the production line was built in Argentina, Stellantis stepped away from some of the the Chinese sourced parts. I am really impressed with the domestic (for them) Fiat turbo-diesel, ZF 8-speed drive-train choice.

Once again we see the rapid pace of the product development in Latin America while the American market gets slow walked.

More non-NA Rams.
More non-NA Jeeps.

Meanwhile in the US:
An overpriced Dodge nobody asked for
eventually a Wagoneer-S L .... I mean Cherokee .. and ..
more promises for Chrysler... at some point.. design studio.... something..

.. how are people supposed to like. Want a CDJR vehicle with no real reason to walk into a dealership if you don't want an aging, expensive Jeep or Ram?

Can’t believe I’m saying this, but even some concepts would be nice. Some signs of life.

Not sure why the American brands seem to be showing fewer concepts now than they used to, but a few Chrysler and Dodge concepts would be nice to show the design direction for those brands, even if they don’t directly preview a production model. Except… maybe less extreme than the Halcyon, because I have no idea how that design language can translate to a crossover.

Money. Concepts still cost time and money.
 
I have come to accept, for a number of reasons, that any Brazilian Ram two smaller pickups will NOT be sold in the U.S.
My logic on the topic:
1- This just updated Ram in Brazil does not meet U.S. market expectations or product capabilities. The new Dakota will be body on frame with Jeep Gladiator fundamentals incorporated and built in Toledo. More capable, no tariffs.
2- Compact Rampage from Brazil uses outdated platform, and import tariffs too high. Ram will utilize the new Jeep Compass platform to build two U.S. spec Ram Rampage and Jeep Comanche pickups likely in Belvedere. Dodge midsize sedan/hatchback, Chrysler something possible as Spin offs to be built there too. Three or more vehicles, all U.S. design and no import tariffs from Brazil or Canada.
This logic explains long delays for desperately needed product
 
Maybe this is a way of developing new products and working out the bugs before introducing a locally sourced similar vehicle here in NA. I'd rather product development begin here and filter out to other markets from NA. Here in NA is where the rubber meets the road. This is where the most $$$ are to be made.
