New Ram 2500 Spy Shots Reveal More Clues:
Our Sister Site, 5thGenRams.com Has New Information...

2020 Ram 2500 spy photo (Real Fast Fotography)

Our friends at Real Fast Fotography have caught the new 2020 Ram HDs out testing yet again. These shots are of a 2500 Tradesman regular cab and give us a few clues as to the new styling. These front end shots with the headlights on reveal the new base halogen headlight design for the new Ram 2500 Tradesman. We previously reported that the HDs will have a unique front end more differentiated than from the 1500s than ever.

In the above picture we can see that the Ram HDs new halogen headlights look to be flatter across the bottom than the new 1500s halogen headlights. The HD continues to have its turn signals and marker lights across the bottom of the headlight rather than up high and on the inside as set up on the 1500s. We have been told that although the new Ram HDs will be completely new, the front end will be closer in design to the current HDs than the new 1500s due to how well the previous Ram HDs were received in the marketplace.

Getting closer. I just hope they keep making it easier to tell the HD from the 1500, greatest thing about the 2010 redesign.

Almost bought a 2018 2500...trying to hold out to see this 5th gen...and avoid any Rebels.

Thinking about grabbing a 2019 Cummins with a 6 Speed manual, since they may not be making it.

Ram and Dodge are making it very haRd to figure what I want. Real nice problem to have...just wish I had the ability to get 3 choices.

I'm very interested in seeing how the HD trucks differ from the 1500.

There's a dealership in Golden that I pass by every now and then and they've had some DT 1500s that are visible from the road and I think the design team did a brilliant job of keeping the truck distinctive. It looks better IRL than pictures would suggest.

Compared with other trucks are going for bigger grilles, the DT Ram is distinctive because it didn't go that route. It's a more focused look and I think that's a brilliant way to oppose the current design trend in trucks right now. It makes the truck stand out but not for the same reason the DS stands out.

Whereas the other trucks are like "Hey! Would like some truck with that grille?" The DT Ram has more of a face than the other trucks do. It has a sense of personality to it. Either you get the simpler (kinda ogre looking IMO) halogen headlights, the mid-level LED headlights that are more focused, sportier and; in the case of the Rebel, kind of apocalyptic looking. Or the premium headlights that really bring the look of the truck upmarket and into luxury territory.

I wonder if this range of personalities will be found on the HD Trucks.

Agree 100% The DT has a much more refined look to it than the other brands. In addition, as I drive by a dealer coming home from work, I can easily pick out the DT in a line of DS trucks. It is distinctive in its own way.
