I think the Ford Lightning is a more serious effort. The Silverado EV seems to come off as more of a consumer toy than a serious truck. Some are reporting this Chevy weighs 8,000lbs and has only a half ton payload. I sincerely hope Ram doesn't go in this direction for an battery electric pickup truck.
