With only three models in its lineup, many have wondered what Dodge will do next to expand its brand. Today, we’ve got our answer. Dodge is officially making a return to the D-SUV segment with an all-new, no-nonsense, high-performance machine: the 2028 Dodge Nitro. Yes, the Nitro is back, and it’s coming in hotter than ever for the 2028 model year.

Not this time. I get suckered every year. The bait, something everyone wants. I’m not sure about that cannon, but this SUV is just as Mike said, too good to be true.
I even told my wife that I was to be cautious this year, yet sadly, you had me going until I got to that cannon. Close, but I didn’t take the bait.
Oh yea, by the way, when did you say the Nitro was being launched?

I notice they've taken the Recon off the Jeep site. I wonder if with the relaxed EV push if the CEOs of Stellantis are going to pull EVs from the lineup and put actual engines in them. The Recon isn't a bad looking vehicle and in Matte Black it looks alot like a Land Rover. The Hurricane-6 may not fit in this vehicle but a 2.0L with the new hybrid 8 speed would and so would a 3.6L Pentastar with the hybrid 8-speed. Not sure if Dodge is going to get another SUV, even on the STLA Large platform. It would be really cool to see the Dodge brand expand it's lineup with a pair of STLA Large 2-row SUVs & a compact pickup along with a better version of the Hornet on the STLA Medium platform. That would be pretty cool

I noticed that too.

I noticed that too.
Maybe with the Tariffs going into effect 4/2, they are holding off orders/sales and shipments until the dust settles. Until they know what is what and if the added tariff will make the price not worth the effort to put it out right now. I am sure they don't want to pay the tariff to let them sit in dealers' lots.
