Jeep® Launches Bold Campaign for the All-Electric Wagoneer S

This Wagoneer S is a BEV only vehicle. It won't sell to half the country and I doubt it sells well in California or New York. Time will tell. I hope all Jeeps sell well. I'm rooting for them and not against them. I just think the tide is turning against BEV and coming back to more common sense practicality. BEV is a niche type vehicle and not practical for everyone. And I'm sure people in the Northeast who own BEV's are a little more concerned with this cold front moving in knowing their cars have about 2/3 of the range they normally do.
I don't know to explain this any clearer..... To sell in 9 of the most populated states and part of the CARB state, half the US Population. SELL ANYTHING. Truck, Van, ICE anything else, your fleet has to be 30% Zero Emission TODAY... RIGHT THIS MOMENT.

This escalates every year until its 100%. All your argue and ruminations mean NOTHING to the regulators. NOTHING. Betting these deep blue state find jesus is losing prop.

Wagoneer S is on the STLA large which means it can be offered with other powertrains, But the volume isn't that high, the volume model will be the KM and it will have 3 powertrain options.

And I'm saying the current legislation is going to change. If Cali and New York want to go on their own, let them. Most of Cali does not want BEV. They will drive across state lines to buy a car or whatever it takes. I'm not about to let a idiot bureaucrat tell me what I can and can't drive. And I think the new administration taking office in 2 weeks feels the same.

Not sure what you don’t understand

It is 18 states… 9 have already instituted the mandates the most populated, over half the US population.

Driving across the boarder only helps if you move, as it is sell or register.

Federal laws have no bearing,

As for these 9 to 18 states finding Jesus in the next couple years. Don’t count on it, if anything they double down. In fact New York just instituted more anti-energy policies mid-winter.

OEMs can’t give up half the US market, because Joe Forum Guy thinks Blue State Regulators with suddenly have a change of heart.

As for all these Californians ….. well they should pay more attention while voting cuz they have directly voted otherwise
