Any substance to this or just click bait? I'll assume there is a market for another coupe (a new Challenger) that isn't as large as Charger - and 2025 Charger will not cover the sales numbers of the previous Charger and Challenger so they are giving up a lot. BUT not so sure it would have the same effect with just 4 and 6 cylinder engines regardless of power. Great car to debut an all new 4th gen hemi with though!

If it doesn't have a Hemi at least as an option, no one cares. Just like no one cared about the Hornet, which has been an absolute flop. There is one exception to this - the Grand Cherokee, with a V6. But even Grand Cherokee sales have dipped because the pricing has gotten stupid.

If you want to gate the Hemi behind the highest level trims that start at $70K - fine. But it should _always_ be an option for an E or F sized vehicle. Period. It's not that hard guys.

Everything else with D segment or under with some four banger or six cylinder will be marginal, it won't generate a hundred million in profit unless that vehicle is the Grand Cherokee (RWD setup) and it's priced correctly.

They ruined the Grand Cherokee with the crazy pricing from 2020->today. The Grand Cherokee had a golden era from 2016 through 2019. They're going to absolutely drive it into the ground with moving it to a four banger in 2026.

I've been correct about absolutely everything over the last decade, both here and on Allpar. I laugh at the idiots over there - Dave and Erik - they've been absolutely wrong about everything.
