I would like to know can we see the Hemi come back there's a lot of people not liking the v6 ?? So more are going to else where!! I'm a 4 time ram buyer I just don't think it's going to last!! So there needs to be more options!! There's going to be a hemi in the 2500 class so put it back to the 1500. We all know the new version of the Dakota is coming out of people want a six cylinder than get it there!! So stallantis listen to the people!!

TBH, I want the V8 to return but not without improvements or redesign.
You can just step backwards and bring back a discontinued engine with the same design.

Do I want a big displacement V8? Not necessarily.

Do I see it coming? I hope so with the current management change.

tick tick tick tick tick tick

How many millions of HEMIs were ever made and how many had any of the 2 famous ticks?
All of the ticked ..... tick tick tick tick tick.... they are famous for ticking, if they weren't ticking it because they valve train failed. Both mine ticked and the older they got the more they ticked.

Valve train famously failed and that what helped make to many lists of the most expensive to own.

Doesn't mean we didn't love them.... just they weren't as inflatable as people seem to make out now.

Add Helcat and up were famous for popping their tops, not as bad as Coyote, but pretty common, especially with those over driving the supercharger.

I’ll say it again what was the percentage of the failure?
Yes they were common on the forums and blogs.

And as you said, Hellcats were “popping” their engines because of bad operation and not design.

Every Hemi I have drove or was around ticked... Your doesn't tick? AMAZING.

And Failures were enough to make it on Lists of expensive engines to own. Thank God I didn't experience it.

It ok to love something, but also be aware of it flaws. You don't have to pretend it was flawless to be a fan.

I am sure you are aware the last Demon was delayed because the head was going on its own trips?

Reality is the old one would have to be ground up redesigned to compete with the Hurricane.

I know people say they would pay more to be slower, heavier, thirstier, more complex, handle worse, brake slower. But I am sorry I don't believe that. I think that it is internet fodder.

Write that $75K check to get gapped by over a second 0-60 and 2 in the Quarter by the lower price, better handling, less expensive to own model, just to be louder and have a more complex valve train? Yeah easy to type/

LX and Eagle had their time, and their nearly 2 decades of hardware to play with it ok to have new stuff, as scary as it is.
