Heads up: Possible forum changes or deletion coming

BTW, one thing that should be fixed is the message formatting in a private message. There is a big gap below all the text when someone sends a message.

I noticed this on mobile with all posts last night, I'll be working on that today.

I hope the forum here continues and prospers. That said, it has been disappointing to see only a maximum of 1 or 2 other viewers on a thread at a time. Like others have said, until FCA starts bringing out the long expected new products, good conversation will be sparse. Allpar is more active but the vast majority of talk is ridiculous fantasy and complaining. I'll take quality threads over quantity but some of that "low comprehension" content does provide entertainment (in small doses).

I come to the main site a few times a day for the news articles. I check the forums about once a week. I also visit allpar thoughout the day, but seldom post on either site.
I jump over to 5thgenrams every week or two. I go to HDrams on occasion, but it typically gets blocked by cisco for some reason when I'm at work and home (same place).
I'm actually more interested in pickups than cars and cuv's. This site seems to be a catch all for news. But jumping through 4 different forums, and sometimes going though similar conversations on those keeps me from going through each site. I wish there was a good way seemlessly go from this site, to 5thgen, and hdrams. Keep the same account between all three. Maybe merge the content amd forums some also. 5thgen seems to have good conversations going. I haven't created an account at hdrams yet, even though I've got an HD now and it's the vehicle i'm most interested in.
I do like the content here.

It's actually been doing a lot better the past few days, it's nice to see.

I totally get what you're saying. The way that we have everything set up though was done for a reason to sort of cater to each individual need. I can tell you about 95% of Ram guys don't give a damn about anything else to do with FCA which is why we kept this site and 5thgenrams separated. When we realized that the HD was going to continue with the 4thGen cab we kind of got cornered into creating HDRams as the true 5thGen HD won't be out until 2022. That also plays into a part where HD buyers are kind of their own breed from 1500 buyers as well. I can appreciate that yes it is a lot of different places to be and trust me it makes it more time consuming for us to manage. That is also the reason why we share all the info on this site, for the Mopar/FCA enthusiasts that are interested in everything.

You gotta stay on the bleeding edge.. like today it national Hemi day
4/26

You should be announcing the Hellephant news!

I think you should keep the forum..I am a former Allpar member that left because of the hypocrisy.I came hear hoping it was a place for real mopar people, you know people that will buy nothing else, old or new.I don't want or need anyone bestowing the virtues of there kia, chev, ford or toyoda,on a MOPAR site.

Sad thing is you're gonna get less and less of "die hards" just by the sole fact of how dodge line up currently is

I must be a rare bread. I'm a Ram guy because i grew up Mopar. I follow 5th gen rams, moparinsiders, and allpar. HDrams is blocked by my computer for some reason. And i think the dodge lineup is the most exciting it has ever been in my lifetime...though i dearly miss the viper.

I understand the problem instead of just having separate forums for 5thGen and MPI why not just combine the two all together. Just a thought.

Can you offer any insight as to why?
Wouldn’t be surprised if they feel they need to justify their love of the Ram to the automotive orthodoxy by dissing everything else FCA. Somehow it’s OK so long as they dig BMW and Honda, see? Of course out here in the dry prairie of Eastern Washington, there a deep love of anything HEMI and that makes justifying a Ram much less fraught.
