I have been seeing a lot of rumors saying that both Ram and Jeep will be producing both a compact and a midsize pickup truck for the US, but not having seen this on MoparInsiders, I don't know what is real and what is just AI. I have seen articles and YouTube content talking about
1. a future US-spec Ram Rampage compact pickup,
2. a future US-spec unibody Jeep Comanche compact pickup,
3. in addition to the known upcoming "unnamed" Ram midsize pickup to be built at Belvidere now being reported to be built on a shortened version of the STLA Frame platform,
4. and potentially a next generation Jeep Gladiator based on the upcoming Jeep Wrangler (J7O) or the previously mentioned Ram midsize; both I have heard.
Some of the info I've read is contradictory and some of the info is presented as fact though details are lacking or simply speculative. However, if what the AI is generating is correct, then Stellantis will be producing 4 new trucks for the US (outside of the next generation fullsize trucks). How much of this is real? And if so, where will this avalanche of new trucks be built? And what platforms will the be on? Or is this all just AI generated fiction?

I don't know, but I've been told next gen Wrangler in '28 so I'd expect Gladiator in '29. I would think that if they want to launch the Dakota (or whatever they'll call it) again they would want to do that before the next gen Gladiator.

If they do it correctly (no weird, overly complex powertrain) it will most likely be my next truck. My current lease will be up in 2029 and I'll be salivating over a new Dakota if they build it correctly.

I've been told that the next Gladiator will feature some SJ styling cues - from someone I trust to give me good info. Maybe they're looking to separate it from Wrangler to garner new sales before they actually go to a new generations. That said, it doesn't mean it's gonna change that much beneath the body, nor that it'll be pretty.. lol

IMO - The YouTubers will spout whatever nonsense gets them clicks most of the time. It's annoying because it's hard to pull fact from wish-listing.

Ram Dakota is probably coming. Eventually. Whether it's the one that they debut'd down in Brasil (even though it was technically a concept. "Ram Dakota Nightfall", and heavily based on the Fiat Titano from what we can see) who knows.
The Renegade-based Comanche is probably not gonna happen, as much as there is a market for a capable, and truely small truck, I don't think Jeep could do it and compete on price. Ram might but they'd have to really watch themselves with pricing and capability.

There is a new global Fiat lifestyle pickup truck coming, allegedly early next year. Both it and probably the Renegade replacement are in doubt here because of the tariff situation. The strategy under the old Stellantis regime was to ship kick down kits from manufacturing facilities in the EMEA region to various markets. The small lifestyle truck would fail here under the Fiat brand, but restyled and repurposed as a mini Jeep Gladiator it might find success stateside. It is probably unlikely Stellantis management would ever allow a "global vehicle" like the new Fiat lifestyle truck to make it to our part of the plane in the first place.

My post above should have said knock down kits or CKD meaning complete knock downs. Stupid spell checker got me on that one.
