"DAJIBAN" Dodge Ram Van Event in Ebisu, Japan. (noriyaro)

In Japan, motorsports is huge. While drifting has been around for a long time, most people have seen vehicles like Toyota Supras, Mazda RX7s and Mitsubishi Lancer EVOs make their mark on the drifting scene. But one of the fastest growing series involves the beloved B-Series Dodge Ram Van.

From 1971 to 2003, the Dodge Ram Van was an American workhorse for commercial tradesman and for families going on long trims. Now, they are exported to Japan where racers strip them down and upgrade the suspension, powertrain and decorate them to make them into all-out racing and drifting machines.

YouTuber noriyaro takes a look at the latest creations of the "DAJIBAN" (Japanese for Dodge Van) for the racing scene. You might want to think twice about laughing at a conversion van at the local junk yard after seeing this.

Now if I could get the wife on page with putting a Hemi in there and figuring out how to mate the 6 Speed manual to it...I sure wouldn't lol
