The Dodge Durango just proved it’s more than muscle—it’s a crowd favorite. According to the latest J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, the Durango has taken the top spot in the upper midsize SUV segment, tying for first and helping catapult Dodge to second place among all mass-market automotive brands in the U.S.

Pretty good for an “old vehicle”. Pretty much, based on this and sales, the old Goat still has some juice left in it veins. Seeing sales are still over 30k a year, shows the vehicle is still fairly popular outside the Mopar community. The few thousand Mopar enthusiasts that know these vehicles inside and out who want it to end, don’t realize there are on 30,000 plus buyers a year who don’t know much about the dated platform and like it for what it is. Also in the last 15 years I am sure there are thousand repeat buyers.
If this thing continues beyond the expected end date of 2028, please at least give this another face lift, new tail lights that don’t leak and a fresh interior.
