Park Function Issue Prompts Safety Recall
Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 25 units of its 2024–2025 Dodge Charger (LB) and Jeep® Wagoneer S (KX)electric vehicles (EVs). At issue is an incorrectly installed spring that may cause the loss of the park function when the vehicle’s gear selector is placed in the park (P) position. This defect could result in a vehicle rollaway, creating a safety hazard. Because of this, the affected vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 114, Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention.
