The 2026 Dodge Charger SIXPACK has added another trophy to its rapidly growing shelf, as The Detroit News officially names it the 2025 Vehicle of the Year. The recognition comes just days after TopGear crowned the Charger SIXPACK Scat Pack as its U.S. Car of the Year, signaling a resounding industry-wide consensus: Dodge has delivered the performance car of the moment.

According the Peanut Gallery just another paid off media organization.... because a car with Giulia as it father and a new smooth and powerful powertrain and nearly a grand lighter in the Gas conversion.... Just can't be good because it doesn't have a dinosaur under the hood doesn't have a uneven and unmuffled growl out the rear.

As it turnouts, for large majority of people Heavy and loud are not prerequisite for being a great car. In fact if you look at the actual sales numbers it never real was. That now ancient architecture is finally replaced should feel like a revelation. Those of use who have driven a Giulia have been waiting for it cousins to get even a bit of that driving dynamics in a Mopar. Again it shows that the wrong model was prioritized for launch, and we know for dang sure the Daytona could have used that extra integration development time.

Can't wait to drive it.

Has an average citizen even taken delivery of one of these yet? Vehicle of the Year seems premature when 1) they aren't on the streets yet 2) the version of the car we do have is complete junk.

Let's reserve our thoughts until there are many of these in the hands of real people.
