Could This Dodge Next-Gen NASCAR Cup Car Rendering Be What Lies Ahead?

Digital Artist Makes Us Wonder If This Is What Dodge Could Be Bring To The Cup Series...

Stewart-Haas Racing No. 14 Dodge Challenger Next Gen NASCAR Rendering. (@leftydesigninsta) (1).jpg

Over the past several years, we have heard numerous rumors and speculation about a possible return to NASCAR for the Dodge brand. After Tony Stewart’s decision to start an NHRA program with Dodge factory backing came to the forefront, Stewart who is the co-owner of NASCAR’s Stewart-Haas Racing has become a key figure in a possible return to the sport for the 108-year-old automaker.

STOP ! Please stop torturing Dodge fans, it hurts when the obvious is obvious. Should the most performance oriented America.brand from Stellantis be racing in the most popular racing venue in America field a team of its cars? Well heck yea !
Even the dumbest of us who bleed Dodge knows the answer and only the cruelest of those at Dodge management will continue to ignore the obvious. Indeed this rendering of a Dodge Cup car is excellent, but the suffering it inflicts on us Dodge fans is too much to bare. For mercy sakes Dodge, do this already. No more renderings, give us the real thing. Obvious beyond obvious.

There is some conspiracy theories out there.
The obvious Tony Stewart match but historically, reveals of new cars, bodies, etc, come at the Michigan NASCAR race.
The head of Dodge said that a reveal of the new upcoming Challenger for 2024 might be in August.
Tempting

The expectation, accompanied by rumors is exasperating. After gazing on this rendering longer than any sane person would I began to see things. No ghosts or spirits but hidden inspirations. Dodge is faced with a critical decision with the Challenger, stick with almost a carbon copy of the current Challenger or change everything. In studying this rendition I realized that the roofline, as per NASCAR rules, is sleek, aero and quite complementary to our beloved Challenger. The traditional front end looks dated, dump it. The traditional rear is perfect. The side is smoother but retains the absolute required Challenger curved body line. Without any fanfare, perhaps this rendering offers some styling suggestions that might keep the classic Challenger style in a slimmer, sleeker look that is distinctively Challenger. Perhaps “web gazing” has its benefits. Sorry to run guys, but my long past uncle Nick is calling me.
