Ram’s “Bucking HEMI®” – a one-of-a-kind, HEMI-themed mechanical bull thrill ride – has been stolen, leaving both the brand and fans stunned. The theft happened on Sunday, August 9, at around 9:45 p.m., during the teardown after Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge in Michigan.

Clearly, someone from Allpar stole it because they can't stand the Hemi living on and succeeding. Sad!

Recovery Raises Questions After Sheriff’s Strong Statement

The mystery of Ram’s missing “Bucking HEMI®” has been resolved — but not without controversy. The one-of-a-kind HEMI-themed mechanical bull ride, reported stolen after the Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge event in Michigan on August 9, has been recovered after a whirlwind 67-hour absence and a 1,200-mile round-trip to and from North Carolina.

Do I understand correctly that the RAM team responsible for the item identified that it was missing.
They reported the device missing to the authorities as they should ( the sooner the better if you want to find it)
Then - the person in possession of it was notified (how - let's leave that out for the second) returned the unit to the owner
The owner publicly thanked the OCSO for doing something to help - even though it was mostly a misunderstanding in the end.

How is this not legit? The person in possession had it w/o permission - is that not theft? The return method is not part of the law. Was it a waste of taxpayer money - no more than any unsolved or solved theft.

Now - with that said - is it possible that the person in possession is actually an extension of RAM (Stellantis) and thus it really never was not in possession? That could be where the rub comes in.
With that said - why do all of this drama in the media - and just say - hey - how about a demo car for our office for the trouble this was and call it even!!! I'm sure they have a Durango or something they could "grant" to the department as a gesture of thanks at no real harm.

Why is everyone so bully and angry and greedy these days - but I say this w/o knowing what is happening behind the scenes....
