Improperly Tightened Bolts on Restraint Pucks May Pose Crash Safety Risk

Braun Corporation (BraunAbility) has issued a safety recall for select 2021-2025 Chrysler Pacifica and 2022-2025 Chrysler Voyager vans due to a problem with the occupant restraint tie-down pucks. These are the anchor points used to secure wheelchairs or other adaptive seating systems, and the bolts holding them in place may not have been tightened correctly during the factory assembly.

How in the heck is this possible? These UAW guys are paid very, very well and not tightening a bolt seems insane. Is this a sabotage mindset because of job cuts?
Sadly, I’m leaning that way considering bolt tightening is not exactly rocket science. I’d fire the people responsible since shifting them to a less challenging job might be impossible. Let see, place wrench over bolt, turn until tight. Done.
Yea, sabotage or total incompetence. Fire them!
