Boxier New Jeep® Compass (J4U) Is The Most Aerodynamic Jeep Ever

10% More Aerodynamic Than The Outgoing Model, Despite Its More Traditional Styling

The all-new Jeep® Compass (J4U) is here (well, at least in Europe)—and it’s doing something no Jeep has done before: chasing down air resistance like a performance car, not just an off-roader. But don’t worry—this isn’t some wind-tunnel blob in disguise. It’s still got that strong, boxy, unmistakably Jeep look. Only now, it’s the most aerodynamic Jeep ever made.

I know right.
Have run any CFD in a long long time... My guess is the ration of X and Y to the Z is way better on the Compass? That is all I can figure. But either way Compass is incredible while still looking like a Jeep.

Wow.

Looks better than these useless coupe crossovers
More useful interior space
Better aero

Win, win, win?

People Love fastback SUVs and CUVs.... I don't but others sure do. I don't get it.

This new Compass has a lot of potential for our market. They could easily blow it with the wrong transmission choice.
I MUST be a Hybrid to be competitive in todays market place. So it less about the transmission and more about the powertrain.

Big prayers they have the 1.6 sorted and better have AWD to be sold as a Jeep in NA.

In Europe Stellantis sent a lot of good hybrid transmissions to the dumpster in favor of the Punch. I expect the Compass to have a hybrid emphasis, but if they cheap out that will haunt Jeep big time.
