Anyone ever see a Rambox blow up?

My brother in law was pulling out on the road from a stop and the Rambox just exploded. He wasnot carring anything explosive. I guess Stellantis is doing a investigation.

Well, those aren't airtight, so something that was explosive was inside it and there was an ignition source. I wouldn't rule out someone doing this on purpose. The idea that just the correct amount of fuel and air leaked into it and then at that point found an ignition source has high odds against happening.

Well first thing I thought about was gas fumes but it's a Diesel 2500 so I don't think it's diesel fumes.
 
So, for sure there was something combustible and an ignition source inside the box. I'd start considering that this was purposeful. Remote chance that road debris caused this but thought it was stated they were stationary.
