Think it has lost it luster with the Internet age. Man, I remember just counting the days to shows. But now.... they can launch anytime. It be pretty easy to re-launch the TRX and a Renegade.

Combine the two. Once the veil is lifted at the show unleash all the pictures and videos online. At least this way you can go see it in person if so inclined. It also helps the autoshow attendance

They still do a Detroit Auto Show ? I agree with @TripleT that these shows are more for getting people to sit buts in seats over doing major announcements. All of those trade shows have a different feeling now, MacWorld (gone), Comdex, etc.
