The Agnelli family, long synonymous with Italy’s automotive and industrial backbone, is officially closing the book on its truck-building legacy. According to The Detroit News, family holding company Exor NV is selling off Iveco Group NV, marking a historic shift from the roar of diesel engines to the quieter hum of high-tech and luxury investments.

Stellantis itself will be next. Maybe the Chinese will want it. Elkann doesnt give a shat about machinery. Maybe they will base their financial future on bitcoin and covid shots. Good luck.

Looks to me like moving forward intelligently. Looks to me like Stellantis is moving to greater autonomy for their North American operations. Looks to me that all, and I mean ALL American brands will bring much new product designed and built for Americans by Americans. Stellantis will be in a stronger position in mere months and it looks to me like the future is bright. Looking good.

I had hoped they would somehow merge with Navistar, but once VW scooped them up a few years back, this move seemed inevitable.

I gotta be honest Bill, those are some damn rosie glasses you’ve got on there.

How the heck you got all of that, because they sold Iveco is beyond me.

The article is in itself poorly written and all over the place and merely serves to show how much pull the Agnellis think they have. Awful article, pretty bad take there as well Bill
