Please bring 500 e back to US!

It's selling really well in Europe. They should definitely sell it in the US.

I was thinking about stating a thread about this, but I see someone has beat me to it.😇

Inspired by the Canadian truckers protest I thought of surrounding Fiat's headquarters in Turin with Fiats, but then I found out that is an everyday occurrence there. Then there is also the problem of getting our cars across the pond and back. My second choice for a location is Auburn Hills, but for those with the older Fiat 500e models crossing the Rocky Mountains might be difficult.

I don't do social media beyond the blogs I frequent, so I know little about it. I think we could get Fiat's attention with a virtual online demonstration. I watch enough Youtube to know it can be done.

Fiat is evaluating the situation at bringing the electric one here.
I think they don’t bring the 500e because the next generation will be on STLA Small pf and I don’t know if Mr.T will make the eCMP evolution to Small US compliant… and it’s (next 500e on STLA Small) already scheduled for 2027.

I think they will sadly reposition FIAT as a « low end » brand… we have to forgot the « 5oo » brand « premiumness ».

Fiat boss Olivier François was talking to Autocar recently and he states Fiat is getting new product, including a Panda themed B-segment crossover. Motor Trend repeats the story for us here in North America: Fiat Wants to Be the "Peoples' Tesla" With Five Global Models Planned

There will be an Abarth version of the Fiat 500e. A lot had to be changed due to the performance increase, but it will be built. Mr. Francois remains silent as what the Fiat brand's plans are for the USA will be. He says most of the new products will be global, but doesn't define what "global" is. I would love to see the 500e along with the Abarth version and a B-segment crossover.

500e, the new 600e, Panda-e, and 500X-e taking a guess. Should send some of those LATAM products here.

My bet about what global is: Fiat will have the same range in Europe and Latin America.

I think Tavares will discontinue the FIAT brand in US… the only model US compliant is the new 500e, but the remplacement is already scheduled in 2027 on Small platform, which is a renewed eCMP, and I think that the Small won’t be US compliant to be more competitive in EMEA and LATAM… and all the futur FIAT models will be on eCMP Gen2 (5oo 5p/600 by Tychy) or Small (the rest). Plus some new Brazilian models on the new exFCA MLA platform. eCMP and MLA pf are not US compliant and the new Small pf won’t be to, so there is no futur of FIAT in US.

Is it possible to make a proper A segment car on CMP? I mean it's even impossible to do it for a B segment. LOL

My wife REALLY wants a new 500e(Red) Cabrio. She is on her second red 500 Pop Cabrio, having totaled the first in an accident. Altogether, she has logged over 200000 miles on her Fiats, and she refuses to get a new car until the 500e is available.

BTFU both my daughter want a replacement for theirs

Any plugin Fiat model sold in the USA will compete with both Jeep and Chrysler plugins for the EV tax credit. I believe the tax credit is limited to the first 200,000 vehicles per manufacturer. The tax credit doesn't really work with lower priced entries like the Fiat 500e because a person has to have a lot of income to take advantage of tax savings. So the Fiat 500e must sell on its own merits, which I think it could.

I also think Stellantis should offer the the new Fiat 500e in their Free2Move car sharing service to help defray the cost of federalization. The boutique selling concept works for Southern California and a few other big city metro regions across North America, but has been a bust elsewhere in America. A vanilla flavored fleet special isn't going to please most of the Fiat fans in America, but it will encourage CDJR dealerships to sign up for service and sales of the brand when the F2M vehicles become used cars. It would be a continuation of the compliance car effect. The CDJR dealers who then sign on to Fiat sales and service should then be allowed to sell a variety of trims and models.

The Fiat 500X is FAIL in my opinion because it comes optioned up. The price is way to high for a small hatchback. I could buy an Escape hybrid for what it costs. Import the 500e please.

The 500e is not a car well adjusted to the commute distances of the US. The larger battery is just large enough that it might be worth considering but the lower spec variants wouldn't work.
I don't think it is a model well adjusted to the US market and it would compete for the tax credit with other models that are more atractive to US consumers. I really don't know what they should do about Fiat in the US.

Please bring the electric pop to the US! My 2012 is still holding up but it’s getting to be time to replace it. I love this little car but would like to go electric.

Public transit in the United States is a joke. Almost all of our commuting to work is by personal transportation which means a car, motorcycle or bicycle. The average commute distance for the entire nation might be high, but when broken down into regions, the regions with the highest and densest populations have lower commuting distances. That said I believe the average for the US is around 50 km, which the new Fiat 500e can handle easily. My round trip to work is under 25 miles. I have an underground parking spot next to a standard 3-prong plug. I would buy a 500 if it was imported.

If anyone out there reading this thread has any influence with the people who run Fiat, tell them we want the new 500.

Reason we don't have public transit because any public works is so corrupt, bloated, filled with kickback, backroom deals on the land, fluffed with endless enviromental studies. Something as simple as a 4 stall public bathroom at a park can run several millions of dollars.

Plus the spread of the population. But the 225Km range on the 500 works for most people in the USA. Just not as a rural or long haul vehicle and actually long hauls in a 500 don't make sense to begin with.

FIAT 500e Continues To Make The North American Auto Show Circuit!

Still No Official Announcement From Stellantis...

Its been two years since the FIAT brand unveiled its all-new third-generation Fiat Cinquecento (500). As an all-electric offering, the new 500e has proven to be a strong seller in the European market over the past two years. It didn’t take long for FIAT to start offering the 500e outside the European Union, with introductions in Israel, Brazil, and most recently Japan.

Enough time has passed for Fiat to relaunch the brand, especially with a small electric car. Lessons should have been learned in round one. Instead of a launch theme of cute, launch with reliability and practicality. Instead of a launch with just one model, launch with three or four that adreeses a larger audience of compact buyers who may need more than the original 500 has to offer. Frankly, electric and three doors is a relative game changer for the 500. These sub compact and compact vehicles don’t mesh with Dodge or Alfa Romeo or Chrysler, Maserati or Jeep, but for Fiat the fit can be perfect. Key here is a quality RANGE of compact products that puts the “Fix It Again Tony” joke to rest and demonstrating what everyone else it seems to know around the globe, Fiat IS the brand that knows small, practical and yes “cute”. Time for round two.
