Ram is stepping up its game in the South American truck market with the official reveal of the all-new Dakota Laramie at the São Paulo International Auto Show. This marks the first time the premium trim of the midsize pickup has been shown publicly, and it sets the tone for what Ram expects to be one of its biggest launches in Brazil for 2026. Alongside the show display, Ram is also hosting a special “Casa Ram Dakota” experience at Clube Esperia, giving prospective buyers a more hands-on look—complete with test drives.

We don't know what the North American "Dakota" will look like, but this isn't a bad looking target.

From 100 feet, you would never be able to tell that's not a Ford Ranger.

I guess if you're going to copy another company, the leader in trucks is the one to copy. Toyota used to do the same thing, until they got sued.

Ram is giving potential customers in Brazil a head start by letting them get behind the wheel of the all-new midsize pickup before it officially hits showrooms. As part of the 2025 São Paulo International Motor Show festivities, the automaker has launched an exclusive experience called “Casa Ram Dakota,” located just steps away from the main Auto Show grounds. It’s a premium activation designed to welcome guests, celebrate the return of the Dakota nameplate, and show exactly what Ram’s latest pickup can do out on the trail.
