Ram is making another move to keep its half-ton pickup lineup within an affordable range, and recent spy shots confirm the return of a Pentastar-powered Warlock for 2026. Our spy photographers caught a prototype Ram 1500 Warlock Crew Cab 4×4 testing on the streets of Metro Detroit, sporting eTorque badging and a single exhaust outlet—clear indicators that the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 is making a comeback.

How is this different from the 1500 Ramcharger? Is that not the engine used for the generator for the Ramcharger with a signal exhaust and was being tested in mules and fast feedback with masked badging ?

Would this be the first Pentastar + etorque?

I'm here for it, if it gets rid of the stupid stop/start

wondering how a Charger GT would be with a 3.6L Pentastar with a hybrid Gen-4 ZF 880RE and AWD. 300hp/260lb-ft torque from the engine and then ad another 95hp and 160lb-ft of torque to the tune of 395hp/420tq and it'll out perform the 5.7L hemi 375hp/410tq in the Challenger R/T and sit comfortably below the 420hp/470tq Six Pack S/O and be affordable. Put something like that in both the coupe and the sedan Charger, give it all the same options as the six pack cars and go from there

Way prefer GME over the Lazy Pentastar .... Had it with the Stelvio it was a good pairing, The 4xE setup in my Jeep is awesome if Samsung would build batteries properly.

value model

GM and Ford Use a turbo 4 dont they?
GM uses a turbo four. Ford has the 2.7 EB. I don't know what happened to the naturally aspirated V6 in the Fords. I think it might be strictly for fleet order pickup trucks. It still is available in their vans.
