2021 Durango SRT HELLCAT Owners Head Back to Court

Class Action Lawsuit Alleges FCA Misled Buyers About Limited Model Year Run

The legal battle between 2021 Dodge Durango SRT HELLCAT owners and Stellantis is heating up again after failed mediation attempts. Owners of the high-performance SUV are taking Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Stellantis back to court, claiming they were misled into believing the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT HELLCAT would be a one-year-only production run. The lawsuit alleges this misinformation led buyers to view the SUV as a rare, limited-edition collector’s item — a claim they argue was shattered when Dodge announced the return of the HELLCAT model for the 2023 model year.

What a crap show. Deception will end you in court every time. Don’t blame these owners one bit.

The only claim that should matter is America's fastest SUV! that is why they bought it, they are the liars

They are an auto maker making vehicles. They made this special edition of the Durango to sell and make money. There was no written contract when the vehicle was sold that it would be a one-time edition. Verble or advertised, maybe, not a WRITTEN agreement at time of sale. The industry changed and there was DEMAND for them to build more in another model year. They did. They build vehicles to make money, not to build a vehicle for you to buy to put in a garage to sell 10 years later. I am sure when the Viper and Prowlers were built and sold, Chryslers thinking wasn't to make these investment vehicles for the public. If that is the case, invest in the market. Not sure I buy the argument, I only bought this as an investment. If that was the case, buy a classic Mopar. Get over it.

Untruth is an untruth, doesn’t matter the situation or circumstance and now stale antics will get a lesson in it. Yes they are cry babies. Yes it is a pitiful thing to sue over. But they will win, and they will make big money: watch what I am telling you.

No they won’t. Lawyers might make money but the owners? Not so much

And they did, they made it one year only. 2021…
