2019 Dodge Challenger – Build & Price Are Up

Can we just take some time to imagine how awesome this would be
View attachment 1161

fast forward a couple years, put a 71 nose on her, widen the back hips ... add the 426 and make it a convertible ... and they will be printing money selling'em .....

well , if you want a hellcat , get the hellcat. You only live once. BUT consider a used one. Trust me,
I drove mine hard , but they are made to handle it. The whole car is PROVEN ... you can save $20,000 - 30,000 buying
used .... for a hellcat with only a couple thousand miles on her ...

Thank you for your insight. I'll keep that in mind.

Can you get the 3.09 axle on a standard hellcat? It's not an option on the build and price.

I've had the 392 and a hellcat. I would say my next Challenger won't be a hellcat or redeye. Just too much power to hook on the street. I found the 392 a good balance and with the widebody (305 + 3.09 gears) it would be just as fun from 0-60.
The 426 in 2020 will be what will get me to open my wallet. A 1320 of that with all the toys will sell better than Crispy Cremes at a fat persons rally ....
I wouldn't count on that 426 being in the car until we hear from an Insider that it'll happen....

No comment....but supposedly the engine will launch on something else, and not until 2021
Yeah, they’ve said it won’t be available for 2020 now. But the 2021 Dodge twins should get it.

Edit: Maybe not, according to another thread?

that's my understanding currently.....but I'm hoping that it gets reconsidered!

They gave a lot of love to the Chally this year. I'm really loving the 5.7 trims. As much as I want the widebody SP, I'd be very happy with any of these 5.7 packs. MY Charger SXT is finally paid off and I'm overseas at the moment but when I get back in a year or so it's finally going to be game time.
