Yeah, I saw it. Actually this is expected. Unfortunately that in the Europe we will not see 2.0 turbo and 1.5 turbo is much weaker than originally planned so that they can push with PHEV. :(
Strong enough? Strong? Hmh. I'm not sure that you've used correct wording.
If you are talking about torsional rigidity then it's not problem with Giorgio at all.
From what I know future of Dodge is very well known and three new models were green lit under ex FCA. One is coming as MY23, two more as MY24. Of course chip crisis could mess with the planned timing.
@ChargerFan1
Next Challenger as small as Giulia? Please, refrain from trolling on this...
They are saying that with 300 HP engine Grecale should hut 100 km/h from a standstill in 5.6 seconds.
For 280 HP Stelvio it's 5.7 seconds.
This engine exists in 330 HP version for Levante and Ghibli.
Because this cars weighs as Q5 or X3 while size is closer to X5 or almost the same as Cayenne.
Giorgio platform brings some benefits to Italian SUV models. With Inline 4 engines Stelvio is 150 to 250 kg lighter than direct competitors.
Grecale used this advantage to grow bigger.
Mono scroll...
In Europe media outlets got behind the wheel of Maserati Grecale prototype.
If I'm not mistaken version in question was 2.0 mild hybrid with 300 HP and 450 Nm of torque between 2000 and 4000 rpm. It has electric supercharger plus a classic mono scroll turbocharger.
It's capable of reaching 100...
It's also political choice. Push with CMP in place of eMini was one such choice.
First of all. Mister Elkann knows that French politicians will stay behind Stellantis when it comes to new EU regulations. One such push was for Euro 6 standard. Stellantis wants to keep it last 2025 and well into...
It seems that Stellantis Brazil has made decision on future engines.
Current generation Peugeot 208 is already circling with Fiat's 1.3 8v and 1.0 turbo 12v engines under its hood...
Gated? Who loves it?
AFAIK Compass still has mechanical connection of some sort. It's not purely electric gear lever as is on Giulia or Stelvio.
From what I remember BMW with X1 F48 (FWD based car) switched from mechanical to electric gear lever with LCI and consequently they were able to...
This is the most important feature and why almost every carmaker will push with them in the future.
Upgrades to a bigger screen are far more easier. Actually it was impossible to put bigger screens on some cars. For example Renault Kadjar. Giulia and Stelvio also have this issue.
I just hate piano black. But here it's Okayish.
Just imagine whole or better part of IP as piano black.
I can't remember who made a comment on gear lever. Was it @KrisW , @Deckard Cain or someone else?
Here is the thing. If it's electric, i.e. without mechanical connection, then it...
I'm not 100% happy with some interior choices but to my eyes it seems that they've done a lot of efforts to bring it on Giulia/Stelvio level in terms of styling.
My critic goes to hear lever. It seems the same or similar as on Compass. I would prefer same solution as on Giulia and Stelvio...
