No it should not be equal, because you have plenty of crucial differences between the two areas that justify different profit margins.
You might feign ignorance about that reality to suit your point of view, but the fact is that there are differences that justify smaller margins in Europe...
They mention net revenues, which is revenue after you discount expenses. Meaning it's a synonym for profits. However, I also think the values are too high to refer to profits.
You're in your right to do that. I don't wish to antagonize no one.
In the end, these are just cars even if different from ICE vehicles. I like cars, so if possible I test everything I can.
Even if you don't buy one I would recommend you to try out a couple of EVs if you have the chance for fun...
Why should they talk about the range extending option or about more specific details when this was a concept to highlight the tech side of Stellantis. There's a reason this was revealed at CES and not at an autoshow.
Instead of venting and moaning about EVs you would do well to remember that...
If the reported consumption in that first contact is accurate then their solution isn't great. It's a compromised solution and they are trying to hide that with inflated WLTP values.
They're probably happy they don't need to report EPA numbers.
It's -5ºC. I wish it was 5ºC. LOL.
The battery has self heating, I don't need to stop using heating and all that.
But while in the Summer/Autumn the EV feels like a gas car, in Winter it feels like a smartphone., where you have to charge it every other day. Just an observation.
I just think...
Maybe so, but even then I am skeptical of the range numbers announced by Stellantis.
They seem to be wildly optimistic. Guess we'll have to wait a bit more for more accurate range tests. Here in Belgium, in the current range of -5ºC to 5ºC the range of my car went down by around 25%...
If anyone's interested in a first contact review of the Avenger EV by a portuguese website.
They gave it an overall evaluation of 8/10 but complained that real world consumption was much higher than reported on WLTP cycle (19.3kWh/100km to 12.5kWh/100km). This is a bit ridiculous since other...
Yeah, there's too much overlap between DS and Lancia. Frankly I think one of those brands needs to be killed. And considering the performance of both and the current dealer network and models available I don't think Lancia is the best candidate.
I say this with regret. We had a Lancia Lybra...
I have very mixed feelings about this. It looks silly and it kind of disappointed.
I guess that's Lancia's tradition for almost as long as I've been alive though.
Not model year, but current year. They mentioned introduction in the market in calendar year of 2024, not model year 2024.
I was expecting it to be for sale by June or September of next year. Not June or September of 2024.
Also, the 500e has been launched in 2020. There's no excuse for only...
I think that's the main reason, and the Compass will still be cheaper than both of those, no?
Also, with that transmission rated to 300Nm, it probably won't be easy to just repro the engine to the numbers it has on the Hornet.
I wish the Carrefour near my house did the same in Brussels.
There's another supermarket chain that offers this already, but the more the merrier.
And again, this event was to announce that they will announce the Fiat 500e for the US in one year. Ridiculous. Why even bother?
Good to see this. And with the Tonale, Alfa might just survive long enough in the US for the large SUV to come to market and the new generation of the Giulia and Stelvio.
