I'm not in disagreement about an I6 engine layout. If "complexity" were the sole driver then I6 wouldn't have left the offering, or V8 would never have existed.
We have until 2026 for the corporate fleet avg of 49, assuming no delay or changes. Does 2024 have to be a drop dead date for the...
I'm not assuming they are designing a new V8, though i'd assume to stay competitive in the HD truck realm that work is already underway. And they've already designed the I6. Compliance costs for our V8 remaining then would be relatively minimal, correct?
I would not agree a pushrod V8 is more...
Actually i think a V8 option if it lives would be more expensive to simply help float the electrified offerings. As Tavares has indicated I do believe a lot of recent price hikes have been so these companies can "afford" to offer/design/sell the electrified vehicles at closer to affordable...
Was there ever confirmation of the one un-named dodge spokesperson who said hemi is going away and next gen is BEV? I think much of that was journalist hype to get clicks, and dodge marketing hype for the new gens electrification strategy feeding into it.
My take has always been the next gen...
Its good to see a test vehicle on the road instead of just renderings.
Logical to meet some of the claims that they may use a longer wheel base truck for a bigger pack. Also like to see the wheel to wheel sidesteps (maybe to try and hide the batteries maybe for slight aero improvements).
I'd...
So, do all 23's have those new mirror and camera options? Curious as the power wagon in the comparison videos i'v seen of this event did not appear to have the new hood or new mirrors or all the surround view stuff. Or is there a updated power wagon coming with more tech new hood and maybe a...
I have to believe Ram at least notices that V8s are still necessary for trucks (3/4" ton at least) and since it is necessary for those, we can hop that a v8 option will remain in the 1500s. If not then why has GM added a new V8 and Ford has added two v8s recently.
For the cars - I don't know...
I thought European safety standards were generally more stringent, like limiting exterior projections for pedestrian safety, etc. Maybe i'm wrong on that.
Refinement/driver comfort I've generally assume NA to be more "picky", but no reason this design and being electric/BEV instead of a high...
Why do you think the volume that wagoneer's sell require 3 shifts of production?
Classic is winding down to end in 2023, correct? Warren doesn't have the volume to justify 3 shifts.
Wagoneers and Grand Wagoneers are offered with a V8. Please go out and buy one or a few thousand to justify...

All accounts so far seem positive regarding the I6.
And motortrend article is out - so embargo must be over?

I'd like to see more specifics on these mirrors. Not sure i've even seen them function or telescope yet. Or more views at the mirror from the drivers seat to understand visibility.
Sport hood looks nice on HD
No brainer on the Rebel add. Wonder if the PW will get some updates to separate...
"The King" I'm familiar with drove a superbird.
Not as familiar with the King Daytona or Willie Robinson's story - so the video was educational. The gomango and wheels looks sharp, but was that the color of one of his cars?
Was the original avenger ever global? Then it wont be confusing to future buyers, just everyone in NA.
Sort of surprised it wont be in NA but i guess the ecosport and whatever else is down in this segment not worth competing against?
Getting hummer and land rover vibes with this. Also interesting use of 4xe but not the PHEV 4xe that we've known so far. Why confuse everyone now with what 4xe aligns with? Apparently it will be anything "electrified" either full BEV or PHEV?
