PSA wants to merge with FCA. Highlights a nearly $20 billion net cash chest

I'd think FCA already has everything PSA could offer. It would be PSA raiding the FCA parts bin and potentially, their piggy bank. No thanks!

    Any reason for the delay?

    Challenger 1320's shipping

Were they supposed to debut in 2020 as 2021's? So now 2021 as 2022's?

FCA: investment for Alfa suv in Pomigliano

I dont know if its relevant or not but Alfa is not listed as premiering anything at Geneva: https://www.gims.swiss/premieres-2019 They are listed for an exhibitor conference, but so is everybody else: https://www.gims.swiss/sites/default/files/Palexpo_Exhibitors_Press_Conf.pdf Could just be...

    Challenger 1320's shipping

If the next generation is fugly with smaller engines and less power or electric assist then I am buying a current hellcat and keeping it forever. Manley himself said, and I quote "it won't be a 700hp engine".

    Challenger 1320's shipping

I know that one ^ has the bee emblem peeled off but its pretty noticeable on the cars, stood out from across 6 lanes of traffic. Too bad about black eye, its a good color

    ....? :)

    Challenger 1320's shipping

Yesterday I saw a couple trucks with Challenger 1320's on them, one of them appeared to be the purple, not sure if it was the same color they debuted the car with (Black eye?) or if it was plum crazy. Keep your eyes peeled on dealer inventory if you want one of them....

The Forgotten Scat Pack Performance Packages:

Its not any cheaper when removing and replacing the pistons and rods is required job #1. If the car had forged pistons and rods it would be a better canvas for modding, like the last Viper was. Lets say you do that and add a blower, now you're saddled with the 8hp70 transmission and could have...

The Forgotten Scat Pack Performance Packages:

Hellcat to demon power can be done pretty easily with pulleys and tuning. Mopar would simply offer a similar package as the aftermarket for 3X the price IMO.

Here Is Why The Hellephant Motor Will NEVER Make It In A Mass Production Vehicle:

You wouldn't know him nor would I post his name but he seems to work around blocks/heads/machining for a lot of production vehicles coming out of Detroit

Here Is Why The Hellephant Motor Will NEVER Make It In A Mass Production Vehicle:

According to an industry guy that recently stopped into TEI was told by them that the hellephant easily made 1550hp during testing without issues, he also stated the process for manufacturing the block uses a lot of very cool state of the art tech, bronze lifter bushings etc.

With sedan sales dropping fast could the Charger go back to being a coupe?

Trust me I love the Charger too and chose it over the Challenger mainly because side by side the Charger is just much better proportioned IMO. Its almost like the 2 charger doors are as long as the Challengers one door when looking at the sides of them.

With sedan sales dropping fast could the Charger go back to being a coupe?

Charger sales in 2017 were down 9% from 2016 Charger sales were down another 8.1% from 2017 to 2018 It still sells in good numbers though, I am just proposing a potential solution if for whatever reason sales really start to fall off a cliff as other sedans have. Cars like the Camry and Accord...

With sedan sales dropping fast could the Charger go back to being a coupe?

I know the charger has seemingly done well in the shrinking sedan market and it also wears 4-doors well but you have to wonder if FCA is nervous about spending all that money on its next gen model when the market could be collapsing. They have to be skittish especially after the dart and 200...
