Chrysler CEO Outlines Bold Future at Chrysler Carlisle Nationals

Chrysler CEO Outlines Bold Future at Chrysler Carlisle Nationals

Talks SRT Revival, New Models, and Affordable Cars Are In The Works

Chrysler fans at this year’s Carlisle Chrysler Nationals got a rare and exciting opportunity to hear straight from Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell about what’s next for the brand. In a candid fireside chat-style Q&A, Feuell touched on everything from performance vehicles to affordability—laying out a vision that shows Chrysler is far from done.

Affordability is more important than ever. I remember not very long ago you could get a Chrysler minivan for about $18,000. The plant ran 24/7 building them, the dealerships couldn't keep them in stock and families had affordable transportation. Whoever had a problem with that and decided to triple the price and slow the plant and sales to a crawl needs their head examined.

And the company went bankrupt..
Talk about "Out Of Touch".

Actually they were the most profitable automaker, try to keep up.

Stock price July 1999 $72.12
Stock price as of now $10.07

Out of touch?

And get this - people were actually working and making money at all the supplier plants, Chrysler plants, dealerships and everything else associated with them. Now? Lol

Sorry I still don’t trust or have faith in Chris, but I really do believe in Antonio, Tim, Matt and Ralph. So I am holding out hope for Chrysler. I thing it all come down to timing and how long it takes to get new product into showrooms and on lots.

I think when people talk about affordability, they don't necessarily mean a compact car.
They're talking about minivans, and mid-size 3-row SUVs, and mid to large passenger cars, and pick-up trucks.

Give people THOSE kinds of vehicles at around the $30k price point and then you'll have something.

But they'll never do that,

Second the stock you are referring to is Mercedes-Benz stock(that artist formerly known as Daimler, DCX).

Hopefully all the talking points, obviously nothing more, come to fruition. Not a Feuell fan, but maybe she will come through under Tim’s leadership. Not sure how she landed this job. It’s time for results.

BTW forgot to ask in my last post. Is Chris being paid for doing nothing with zero results? Or is she just eye candy until they get things going and she gets replaced?

I believe they are paying her 2 to 3 million a year for her Stellar performance. It’s absolutely mind boggling how people land these jobs and produce nothing but lip service. Time to get some results to market already.

I wonder who she’s giving the goods to. Any other CEO that has done such a piss poor job would have been fired long ago.

She honestly makes Carlos look good. I mean, he at least has a track record. She has….nothing. Not one damn thing that she’s done.
